【こう】平安貴族が愛した“薫物(たきもの)”と呼ばれる香。香木や生薬、樹脂を調合し、蜜や梅肉で練りあげる。その香りは、甘く華やか。

This incense (“Takimono”) was a favorite of Japanese nobles in the “Heian” period. A mixture of fragrant wood, herbs, and resin, kneaded with honey or plum pulp, it produces a sweet, luxurious fragrance.

【まっちゃ】釜から湯を注ぎ、緑が鮮やかに。茶筅(ちゃせん)を振り、豊かな泡が生まれる。茶の深い甘みが広がる。暮らしに句点をうつ、穏やかな時間へ。
